| Update 8th October 2004 |
| Magnus Magnus is very hungry at the moment and being pestered by Ray. Sheba Sheba’s eye problem still persists. Lizzie Lizzie is feeding well, and keeping out of way of Sheba and Marlin. She is still friendly with Atlanta. Anneka (Hattie) Not very hungry at the moment too busy being nosey and jumping out the pool whenever the fish van goes past. Atlanta Still loving all the toys especially the raft, and is wrapping herself up in hose pipe and anchors herself under the raft to avoid Ray! Fatima Very rounded at the moment. Ray Ray is spending a lot of time pestering Magnus (Magnus is his idol). Marlin Marlin is giving Sheba his undivided attention. Flotsam and Jetsam Training getting better every week. Flotsam will now come right out of the pool to have his eyes, ears and nose examined. Jetsam is a little more reluctant but improving slowly. Flipper and Yulelog With the start of the breeding season, and after about 1 month of eating non stop, Flipper now has other things on his mind……and its not fish! Yulelog is still feeding and training well but becoming a little bad tempered with Flipper – hormones are racing. Rocky and Pepper Pepper is very enthusiastic during feeding time at the moment – leaping out the pool whenever the Animal Care Team walk past. Rocky is his usual noisy self and only being quiet when he’s eating. Lots of conger fun this week for Rocky – trashing them around – managing to soak the crowd. Carus and Serendipity They have just started their second breeding season for the year. Carus is more interested in fish at the moment but with the flirt that Serendipity is, it won’t be long before she has all of Carus’s attention! Bamboo and Thai Thai has been particularly feisty this week and has been on a mission to make the Animal Care Team leave her enclosure. As a consequence, Bamboo is doing exactly what he is told in case he gets into trouble! Feeding well and enjoying juggling crickets and millworms! Bracken and Tuppence Tuppence is being unusually chatty at the moment, whinnying everytime the Animal Care Team walk past the paddock. Bracken is concentrating on eating as much grass as possible, and whenever possible breaking through the fences to eat the grass in the goat paddock. Goats Eating more bramble tree’s and have had their hooves trimmed by the Animal Care Team. Site News Bubble and Smartie are loving the herring, but refusing to eat the mackerel everyone else gets. Gaining confidence all the time. Pup Rescues We have had two new pups in this week. Arrow (male) rescued with the help of BDMLR from Port Gaverne on Monday (4th October).
