Rescued from : Holme beach

Age at Rescue : 6 weeks old

Condition : This pup was found to be suffering from lung worms and was very dehydrated and malnourished.

Update: 3rd March 2013 - George is now in the hospital´s weaning pool.

Update : 16th March 2013 - When George first came in, he weighed 22.5kgs and after rehydrating him and treating the lung worm, all the Animal Care Team had to do was fatten him up!

Luckily for the staff George is a good eater and they managed to get him up to release weight within two months.

The staff are now just waiting for the right tide to release him back into the wild, which hopefully should be this week!

Update : 21st March 2013 - George was released back to the wild on 20th March 2013.

At 45kgs he was ready for a new start and braved the open sea. Good luck George!
