Bib (Trisopterus iuscus)
Habitat : Shipwrecks, rocky ground, East Atlantic.
Size : Up to 50cm.
Food : Small fish, crustaceans, squid.
This relative of the cod is often found in shoals around shipwrecks or amongst rocks when it is young. Older individuals live in deeper waters. Bib are usually pale brown to pinkish brown in colour, with copper coloured bands on their bodies.
