Approximately 49 days old pup was rescued by staff from Great Yarmouth SEA LIFE Centre.

Upon arrival at the Hunstanton SEA LIFE Sanctuary´s hospital, Claire was found to have an infection to her right shoulder, she was given a course of antibiotics.

Update: 20th October 2012 - Claire is in the outside resident seal enclosure pool for her final stage of rehabilitation and she currently weighs 22kg.
Hopefully will be released back into wild at
Great Yarmouth next month.

Update: 8th December 2012 - On 6th December 2012 Kieran and some of staff of the Animal Care Team at Hunstanton SEA LIFE Sanctuary travelled to
Great Yarmouth to release Claire back into the wild with the help of some of the staff at
Great Yarmouth SEA LIFE Centre.
