Upon arrival at the hospital, Brad was found to be very skinny, had worms and a blockage in his throat.

Update: 20th October 2012 - Brad has made a full recovery and currently weighs 20kg. Brad is in the outside resident seal enclosure pool for his final stage of rehabilitation and will be released back into the wild in the next 2 months.

Update: 8th December 2012 - Brad along with along Popeye were released back to the wild on
4th December 2012 at Snettisham beach.
