Reason for Rescue : Malnourished and wounds to her body.

The pup was rescued by members of the Animal Care Team, Kate and Emma, very late in the evening on 27th December 2013 from the beach at St Keverne.
Upon arrival at the Seal Sanctuary´s hospital, she was put into isolation pen number 1 where a full clinical assessment was carried out by members of the Animal Care Team. She has been named Star.

Update - 16th June 2014 : Star along with Alien, Isis and Cupid, were released back to the wild on 12th June 2014 at Gunwalloe.
