Rose was rescued on 30th September 2013
Rose, a female juvenile seal, was rescued from Hope Cove, south coast of Devon, on 30th September 2013 and taken to the RSPCA´s West Hatch Wildlife Centre for treatment.

The pup was transferred to the Cornish Seal Sanctuary for her next stage of rehabilitation, to learn how to compete for fish with other seals.

Rose´s flipper tag number is 80074 (orange).

Update - 20th January 2014 : Rose is ready to be released back to the wild unfortunately she cannot be safely returned until the weather improves.

Update - 11th May 2014 : Rose along with Mercury were released back to the wild on 5th May 2014 at Gunwalloe.
