Update - 26th October 2013 : Poor Leo! He was taken to the vets by members of the Animal Care Team to have his broken jaw realigned and fixed, which will take 4-6 weeks to heal. He has a quite nasty wound to his lower back as well which is being cleaned daily.

He may not eat for himself while his jaw is painful so the Animal Care team are helping him. Very feisty despite this!!! He is a fighter!! Leo is currently in the hospital´s isolation pen number 2 but he will be moved into the main hospital very shortly.

Update - 16th November 2013 : Leo is recovering well from his broken jaw. Slightly lopsided jaw - looks a bit like Ray! Vet had to come in and re-adjust the wire. All of his wounds are nicely healed and he has been swimming in saltwater, which really aids the healing. Feeding for himself too. Vet was so impressed Leo was moved to the outside nursery pool, but is still on treatment. He currently weighs 28kgs.
Leo Update - 22nd November 2013 : Leo´s jaw is still wired but it is healing really well, he will be on treatment for a few weeks. He is currently in nursery pool number 1.

Update - 2nd December 2013 : This photo (left) of Leo was taken on 1st December 2013 in the nursery pool 1.
