Ross was rescued on 3rd November 2017
Ross, 4 weeks old male seal pup, was rescued on 3rd November 2017 from Porth Chapel.

The pup was found underweight with small wounds to his tail and flippers. Also have a scratch in his eye. The vet prescribed antibiotics, painkillers and eye drops.

Update - 19th November 2017 : Ross was moved down from the hospital to the outside nursery pools on 10th November 2017 with two other rescued pups, Enys and Elijah, to learn how to compete for fish during feeding time.

Update - 28th November 2017 : Ross is now in the convalescent pool with 17 other pups for his final stage of rehabilitation before being released back to the wild.
Ross Update - 1st January 2018 : Ross is currently in the convalescent pool for his final stage of rehabilitation before he is released back into the wild soon.

Ross´s flipper ID tag number is 324 (green).

Update - 10th February 2018 : Ross along with Poldark, George, Emma, Cary, Margaret and Jeremy were released back to the wild on 5th February 2018 at Gunwalloe.
