Queen was rescued on 5th November 2018
Queen, 5 weeks old female seal pup, was rescued on 5th November 2018 by members of the British Divers Marine Life Rescue (BDMLR) Medics from Watergate Bay in Newquay.

She was found with superficial wounds on flippers and weighed 13kgs.

Queen This pup was held overnight at one of the BDMLR´s holding veterinary facilities and then the next day transported to the seal hospital at Gweek.
Update - 25th November 2018 : Queen is still in the hospital pen, it will not be too long now before she is moved to the outside nursery pool for her next stage of rehabilitation. Currently weighs 17.5kgs.

Her flipper tag ID number is 319 (red).

Update - 1st January 2019 : Queen has completed his rehabilitation and was returned to the wild on 31st December 2018 at Porthtowan along with other rescued seal pups, Billie Jean, David Hasselhoff, John McClane, Duran Duran and Scrunchie.
