Pretty Woman was rescued on 19th October 2018
Pretty Woman, approximately 3 months old female common seal pup, was rescued on 19th October 2018 from Porthmeor beach St Ives, by members of the British Divers Marine Life Rescue (BDMLR) Medics.

This pup was found very underweight with an ulcer in the right eye. She has been treated for worms and a precautionary course of antibiotics.

Pretty Woman Update - 28th October 2018 : Once Pretty Woman has put on a little more weight, her hospital pool can be filled with water and once she has reached 20kgs, this pup will be ready to be moved outside nursery pools for her next stage of rehabilitiation.

She currently weighs 13.5kgs.

Update - 14th January 2019 : Pretty Woman was released back into the wild at Dollar Cove on 10th January 2019 along with Top Gun, Rambo, Knight Rider and Gremlin.
