Love is in the Air!

Love is in the air at the Cornish Seal Sanctuary for two grey seal couples.

It became quite apparent to the animal care team that resident grey seal Badger was looking for love.

Badger had been spotted pestering not one but two of the female grey seals he shares a pool with, Lizzie and Willow.

Badger´s favourite move is to rub up against them in what looks like an attempted cuddle, along with following them around the Pool.
Love is in the Air Luckily for Badger, although Lizzie showed zero interest and tends to ignore him, Willow appears to have taken quite a shining to him.

Badger and Willow were introduced in September 2016, and they haven´t really been apart since. Although fairly new into their budding romance, Willow definitely wears the trousers in the relationship!

Grace Jones, junior animal care assistant says "We always catch Badger chasing Willows tail, She definitely gets frustrated by his immature behaviour!"
Another more mature romance at the Sanctuary is growing stronger than ever with resident grey seals, Ray and Sheba.

Ray and Sheba are spotted most evenings hauled out together on the pool side by the team. Out of all of the girls in the Pool, Ray only has eyes for Sheba!

Grace said "Love is definitely in the air this Valentine´s Day, and it´s so sweet watching the relationships develop between our residents!"
Badger and Sheba are in love!
