Pepsi was rescued on 13th October 2018
Pepsi, 2 weeks old female grey seal pup, was rescued on 13th October 2018 from Praa Sands, by some of the members of the British Divers Marine Life Rescue (BDMLR) Medics.

This pup was found with a few superficial wounds all over her body and a large puncture wound on her rear left flipper.

Pepsi Update - 28th October 2018 : Pepsi is still in the hospital pen number 2. She is currently having treatment and wounds cleaned on a daily basis, but the Animal Care team are hoping the salt water will help her wounds heal faster. She currently weighs 22.5kgs.

Pepsi´s flipper ID tag number is 308 (red).

Update - 25th November 2018 : Pepsi is now in the outside nursery pool number 4 with another rescued seal pup named David Bowie. She is learning how to compete for fish. She currently weighs 24kgs.

Seal Release Update - 1st January 2019 : Pepsi has completed her rehabilitation and was returned to the wild on 28th December 2018 at Porthtowan beach along with other rescued seal pups, Freddie Mercury, Roger Taylor, Madonna, Brian May, He-Man and Footloose.
