Pamela Anderson was rescued on 2nd December 2018
Pamela Anderson, 5 weeks old female seal pup, was rescued on 2nd December 2018 from Portheras Cove by members of the British Divers Marine Life Rescue (BDMLR) Medics.

This pup was found with puncture wounds on all of her flippers, ulcerations in her eyes and mouth.

Pamela Anderson Update - 29th December 2018 : Pamela Anderson is now in the nursery pool for his next stage of rehabilitation and to learn how to compete for fish with other seals.

This photo left and a further one were taken on 28th December 2018.

Pamela Anderson´s flipper tag ID number is 332 (red).
Update - 20th March 2019 : This photo of Pamela Anderson was taken earlier in the day in the rehabilitation pool before she was released back to the wild.

Pamela Anderson Pamela Anderson was released back into the wild on 19th March 2019 at Porthtowan beach along with Cher, Cyndi Lauper, Pet Shop Boys, Karma Chameleon and Hope.

Update - 25th April 2019 : Pamela Anderson was seen at a local haul-out along the west coast of Cornwall on 18th April 2019 by members of the Cornwall Seal Group Research Trust who volunteer hundreds of hours of their own time to photo, identify, carry out surveys, monitor and watch over the seals around the Cornish coast.
