Mullet was rescued on 14th September 2018
Mullet, 3-4 days old male grey seal pup, was rescued on 14th September 2018 from Trevaunance Cove near St Agnes by some of the members of the British Divers Marine Life Rescue (BDMLR) Medics.

He was rescued due to public disturbance.

Mullet Pups this age may not have been separated from mum, mum may be waiting for when the beach is quiet to come up and feed her pup.

If she feels threatened, she won´t come up onto a busy beach to do this.
Update - 28th October 2018 : Mullet is now in the nursery pool 3 for his next stage of rehabilitation and to learn how to compete for fish with other rescued seal pups before being released back into the wild. He currently weighs 20.5kgs.

Mullet´s flipper tag ID number is 303 (red).
