Lucy was rescued on 21st February 2018
Lucy, female seal pup, was rescued on 21st February 2018 from Port Issac by some members of the British Divers Marine Life Rescue (BDMLR) team.

This pup was found to be malnourished and wounds to her body. The pup was transported to one of BDMLR´s holding facilities overnight then the next day taken to Gweek.

Update - 25th February 2018 : Lucy is currently in the hospital and weighs 17.5kgs.

Lucy Update - 28th March 2018 : Lucy is still in the hospital isolation pen number 3 and currently weighs 18kgs.

Lucy´s flipper tag ID number is 371 (green).

Update - 29th April 2018 : Lucy has been moved to the outside nursery pool number 1 for her next stage of rehabiliation. She currently weighs 22kgs. She is sharing the nursery pool with another rescued seal pup named Enys.

Update - 24th May 2018 : Lucy along with Dewgong, Zacky, Winston, Alpha and Eyns, were released back into the wild on 21st May 2018 at Porthtowan.
