Lisbeth was rescued on 5th December 2019
Lisbeth, 4-6 weeks old female grey seal pup, was rescued on 5th December 2019 from Carbis Bay by members of the British Divers Marine Life Rescue (BDMLR) Medics.

This pup was found exhausted, dehydrated, malnourished and underweight.

Lisbeth Update - 30th December 2019 : Lisbeth is currently in nursery pool 2 for her next stage of rehabilitation. She is learning how to dive and to compete for fish with other rescued seal pups during feeding time. Currently weighs 19kgs.

Her flipper tag ID number is SL129 (yellow).
Update - 1st February 2020 : Lisbeth has nearly completed her rehabilitation, just needs to put on a few more kilos before she is released back into the wild in the next few weeks. Currently weighs 27.5kgs.

She has now reached her target weight of 34kgs so it is time for Lisbeth to be returned back into the wild once the weather improves.
Update - 6th March 2020 : Lisbeth along with Piglet, Elf, Pippi Longstocking, Horrid Henry, Stig and Alice in Wonderland, have completed their rehabilitation and were released back into the wild on 2nd March 2020 at Dollar Cove.
