Harmony was rescued on 31st December 2017
Harmony, female seal pup, was rescued on 31st December 2017 from Boscastle harbour by Michelle and Sharon, members of the British Divers Marine Life Rescue (BDMLR) medics.

Michelle said "Had a huge welcome from members of public, who were really concerned about this little one. Sharon was first on scene, getting the public at a safe distance with Jon from the National Trust".

Harmony - Photo copyright Michelle Robinson Clement - BDMLR "Pup was looking exhausted and was trying to escape the seas. A 20kgs pup, with an injury to right eye. Quite malnourished with black diarrhoea."

The pup was transported to the seal sanctuary for care and rehabilitation.

Update - 12th February 2018 : Harmony has been treated with antibiotics, painkillers and eye drops. Her eye has healed and didn´t need to be surgically removed.

Update - 25th February 2018 : Harmony is now in the rehabilitation pool waiting to be released back to the wild in the next month.

Her flipper tag number is 346 (green).

Harmony Update - 23rd March 2018 : Harmony weighed 29kgs on 20th March 2018.

Update - 27th March 2018 : Harmony is currently in the rehabilitation pool. Now the weather is improving, she will be released back into the wild soon.

Update - 29th March 2018 : Harmony along with Elijah, Carylon, Holywell, Kynance and Providence, were released back into the wild on 28th March 2018 at Dollar Cove.
