Arctic fox was rescued on 5th December 2016
Arctic fox, 8 weeks old male grey seal pup, was rescued on 5th December 2016 from Duckpool beach near Bude by members of the British Divers Marine Life Rescue (BDMLR) team.

He was found to be suffering from respiratory breathing. The pup was transported back to the seal hospital for rehabilitation.

Arctic fox Update - 1st January 2017 : Arctic fox has been moved down to the outside nursery pool for his next stage of rehabilitation and to learn how to compete for fish with other rescued seal pups.

Arctic fox´s flipper tag number is 318 (white).

Update - 1st March 2017 : Arctic fox has completed his rehabilitation and will be released back to the wild very soon once the weather has improved.

Update - 31st March 2017 : Arctic Fox along with Polar Bear, Penguin, Panda and Merlin were all released back to the wild at Porthtowan Beach on 24th March 2017.
