Residents at the Sanctuary were enjoying the snow that fell on the 7th January 2010. Unfortunately the Sanctuary was closed to visitors, but the Animal Care Team battled through the snow to attend the pups and feed our residents.
Although not much fun for the staff, (who slid from pool to pool at feeding time) the residents and pup certainly enjoyed the white stuff that was falling out the sky. This week´s update includes a selection of these photos taken by the team at feeding time.

All the pups in the hospital continue to do well and are feeding and putting on weight. The release scheduled for this week has been postponed due to the weather. All the residents are enjoying the snow especially Sahara who thinks he is back in the Arctic, we are sure that in the next few days he will be wishing it was summer again!!
