Eclipse
Photo of Eclipse The pup was rescued by Michelle Robinson, Nathan Jones, Sarah Pitcher and Dave Jarvis, members of the British Divers Marine Life Rescue (BDMLR) team. Michelle said "this was a very hard physical rescue as always at Strangles, but we made it. The pup weighed 30kgs with terrible diarrhoea, high temperature and superficial wounds."

The pup was transported to the Cornish Seal Sanctuary where on arrival at the hospital, she was put into one of the isolation pens in the hospital, a clinical assessment was carried out by members of the animal care team. The pup was prescribed antibiotics as a precaution to fight any infections she may be harbouring.
Update - 30th September 2013 : Eclipse has now been moved into the main hospital.
