Cupid was rescued on 19th February 2014
Cupid, ten weeks old female seal pup, was rescued on 19th February 2014 by members of the BDMLR team from the beach at Portwrinkle in Looe. The pup was found to have minor wounds to flippers. She also encountered disturbance by members of the public.

The seal pup was taken to the British Divers Marine Life Rescue´s (BDMLR) temporary seal holding facility until a pen was available in the hospital at Gweek.

Cupid Update - 14th April 2014 : Cupid is now in the outside pools for her next stage of rehabilitation and to learn how to compete for fish with other seal pups during feeding time.

Update - 16th June 2014 : Cupid along with Alien, Isis and Star, were released back to the wild on 12th June 2014 at Gunwalloe.
