Aquarius was rescued on 28th December 2013

Location of Rescue : Little Fistral, Newquay

Age at Rescue : 2 weeks old

Weight at Rescue : 12kgs

Reason for Rescue : She was an underweight whitecoat with a swollen flipper and a few wounds and oil on her neck and mouth.
Aquarius
The pup was rescued by members of the British Divers Marine Life Rescue (BDMLR) team on 28th December 2013 from Fistral beach in Newquay.

Upon arrival at the Seal Sanctuary´s hospital, she was put into isolation pen number 1 where a full clinical assessment was carried out by members of the Animal Care Team. She has been named Aquarius.

Update - 20th January 2014 : Aquarius is still in the hospital.
Aquarius Update - 24th February 2014 : Aquarius is now in the outside nursery pool number 3 for her next stage of rehabilitation and to learn how to compete for fish with other seal pups during feeding time.

Aquarius has completed her rehabilitation and is now ready to be returned to the wild.
Update - 29th May 2014 : Aquarius along with Aries, Soyuz, Astrid and G-Force were released back into the wild on 28th May 2014 at Gwithian.
